the title says it all, after 1h of playing i have checked my log and found out that only 3 kick out of 20 that worked properly.
i wasn't around for 1 week or 2 so this has been the case from last night when i logged back on Ro again after break.

I've noticed this too. Half the time I don't even bother using it because it fails quite a lot. I successfully landed one kick last night.. it seems most knock down attempts fail these days. Stuns seem to work properly, though. Has anything changed in this regard?

hahahaha welcome to my world.my ambush works 10-20% of the time everyday of the week for the last 4 years.i cant even ambush mobs inner realm when im helping others lolz.

Some claim this high-resist-rate issue is a ping/connection phenomena, while some say it is a 'feature' & that certain spells mechanically have been given a naturally higher chance of resist in the gamecode, & some say this is some form of hack/exploit/cheating, pure & simple. Which is it? One, or two, or all 3 in a mixed variety combination. IDK, but it truly IS a royal pita & that's a FACT!:rale:

Also something that seem fairly obvious is that CCs with ability to cancel other CCs, now can result in a resists if it is a close enough call (even for instant CCs like kick), where in the past it may more often have resulted in both CCs being sucessful, which seem to happen much less now.

I second that, and move that this thread be closed and posted under the game guide section. From now on, we shall all skill MS 5 and gear const, conc, evade, spell focus, and resist bonuses. :viking:

Resists are so crazy sometimes people resist a kick as soon as they start to get up, because apparently no one can resist while knocked. :hat:

id hazzard a guess here and say all 3.too often i see lock/barbs resisting more spells than my sotw can and does and enemy archers getting 100% success out of thier sotw.

Not sure if I believe the ping related myth...if that were decided on server it would get sent to both players, even if the person with bad ping was lagging out.
Maybe the formula's are different for certain spells for certain classes...I seem to notice my feint failing a lot on knight, while my kick works more often, and on barb my kick fails more (hes lower level, but I've noticed it even on mobs).
I've also noticed some characters that are unstoppable with SOTW or defensive support up...even if we've caught them outnumbered and spam spells on them they just keep going. Who knows...
