Won't let me create a character

When I go through all the screens to create a character, as I get to the screen where it asks for a username, I put in a username and click create character, but then the username disappears and the create character button is disabled, leaving me unable to do anything else except go to the previous screen.

meaby u are writting an unavaible nick, did u try with an other nick?
