Linux Clan for Alsius? Team America - Fk Yeah

I am tossing around the idea of starting a clan in Alsius for us IT/Linux humans. If you are like me you work about 50 hours a week and don't have a lot of time to play. Also hacing an English speaking clan will make communicating a lot easier. Oh, did I mention I plan on calling it (Team America) :naughty:

I have a level 31 knight so if we can get eight other together we can give it a shot.

Thoughts and ideas are welcome,

I have it working on a Dell 610 w/ATI laptop running Ubuntu 7.04 and Shuttle AMD64 w/NVidia running Ubuntu 7.04

Because you know there is actually a world outside the US of A where people do speak english and use linux. Just an idea. Do you want an linux clan or an american clan?

Doesn't have to do anything with Linux yet. If you want international Linux users to join you, they have to somehow understand that your an international linux clan don't they?

people will not recognize you as a linux clan. they won't recognize you as an international clan. because nothing in the name suggest linux and nothing suggest international. nothing suggests anything regnum related either.

it just suggest that you liked a film. so if you want a clan for people who like the film, you're all set. if you don't, your just wasting the most powerful tool: the name

Yeah, you're absolutely right. It is the duty of the customer to go and search for a candybar he likes most. That's why noone ever invented commercials and businesses would never pay big amounts of money to find names that get the message across in as many languages as possible.

It's the users who need the clans not the clans that need the users. Your totally right. That's why users would never make their own clan. They depend on the existing ones.
