Alsius invaded like 6/7 times this morning. They'll have enough wmcs for a ring in 1 day. GG ngd

Right now, I'm leaning toward simple and rather heavy-handed solutions.
Offered solutions:
ONE: remove flat WMC award from dragon wish list.
TWO: Every time a realm uses a dragon wish, for seven days (or until another realm uses a dragon wish), all of its warzone fortifications (including the wall) have their doors reduced to 500 hit points and no defenses, and guards, even GC's, are reduced in hit points and offense capabilities by half.
THREE: Every time a realm uses a dragon wish, for seven days (or until another realm uses a dragon wish), players from both other realms receive substantial bonuses (50%+) to damage and defense against that realm.
Just another crazy suggestion. But the WMC award needs to be removed now.

It's retarded how Alsius has been zerging and invading this last days. First goat in wmcs got 230k this week. Just imagine how the server will be in some weeks, with the same amount of goats invading but with full jewells.

Most of these people wishing in Alsius are the same people that were zerging in Syrtis in November/December, and some that were playing in Ignis around that time. It's obvious... Alsius started coming alive, and very fast, at the same time Syrtis started dying. Best of luck, Haven. This is why I've lost interest in that server. :beerchug:

It's fun how many people keep writing this like it was 100% true.
If it is like you're saying, please tell me names of lets say 20 goats who are zerging now, with their coresponding gelf characters. Or just anyone who thinks it's all about multies. please tell me.
If you can't think of 10-20 names, don't write such bs. I was playing in Syrtis for long and yet I know maybe 3-4 multis. Where is the multi zerg hiding?

Didn't someone on this forum mention that people in Syrtis were asking for goat accounts around the time NGD made Alsius gate unbreakable for Syrtis?
And either way, whatever the reason for balance shifting so quickly... Doesn't change the fact that it hurts the server in many ways, and makes playing in it pretty boring.
Edit- A few players from Alsius have said here on the forum that Alsius has plenty of players from Syrtis and Ignis now...

Back then many syrtians just left RO when Alsius gate became unbreakable.
For example, in January, Alsius was already probably stronger than Syrtis, but we could compete. In january, we made in INQ huge clan event, planted like 20 big xmass trees.
We got many old INQ players online for that event, so we made also huge war after. We got alsius relics easily, but at gate...well, its hp didn't move, even if we were maybe twice that many on that day. You can easily imagine many people were frustrated.
It's enough that people get tired from zerging and leave, and that was time for other realm to raise.

In the last month, Syrtis has actually managed to invade Alsius twice or more. The gate was not impenetrable; it was about as tough as Ignis gate is, which we've also managed to take several times.
We even had 5 gems at one point in the last few months.
So... some of this has changed.

Resetting WMC is not the answer, and I hope that's not what happens. However, no new WM stuff has been released yet on the live servers... It's not too late to cancel the release of the jewelry currently being tested, and come up with something that doesn't effect balance too badly.

I'm not sure what the solution is.
Maybe the WMC generation system can be changed. Keep the fort holding bonuses because that encourages fort fights, but perhaps scale them in some way relative to teammate and enemy populations (of lvl 50+). For example... if 30 people hold fort/gate of a realm with 10 people online they get 1/3 of the normal reward. But if 10 people hold fort/gate of a realm with 30 people on they get 3x the normal reward.
I would even go as far as to reward WMC per kill, again scaled by the current populations logged in. We could pick a default amount... say 10 WMC per solo kill @lvl 60, and multiply it relative to the realm populations. So a realm with 5x as many players get 2 coins and a realm with 1/5th the number of players get 50. Of course these coins are then divided up just like rp.
Its safe to say that multis are a part of this game and not going anywhere, so what the devs should try to push for is to reward the non zerging realm as much as possible, to encourage and reward people who fight against the odds. This, in turn, might encourage multis to log onto their toons of the outnumbered realms instead of the zerging one.
On implementation I'd also reset coins for people already WM. I would also removed wmc wish. All incentives to zerg should be removed!
Re Jewelry: I'm on the fence on this. Either this jewelry should be added OR all boss jewels should be removed OR nerf both wm jewels and boss jewels. I'd prefer the third option. I believe in equality, where all players should have the same access to all jewels.
