I have the graphics cranked way up... cuz I have a pretty good gaming machine...

Is it normal for the game to kinda skip... like my toon drops back a few feet and then keeps runnin...

A couple of times last night it was really bad... like the was a mob pretty close to me...and I kept runnin towards it...but I skipped back like 5 times and covered the same ground over and over...

Should I crank back the graphics a bit... or is it always like this...

Thanx

I've had similar troubles... I believe its just lag, I have my client on pretty low settings and it still happens sometimes.

Sounds like lag, this is a fairly common problem right now and I had it happen several time as well last night.

Well I cranked back my graphics a little... And things seemed to be a bit better... But then it dawned on me that the night before when things were very choppy... I had bit torrents runnin in the background... DOH!! lol

Oh well thanx for the help anyway... :p

Hmm... i always thought it was how ngd added more monsters, maybe double the amount from what it should be normally from past updates. Because I heard that the hunters pet being captured and left around without disappearing flooded everywhere slow the game down? I maybe wrong but I felt the game had too much monsters from before.

It's a lag issue. I like to call it the 'deja vue' bug.

it's a combination of client side lag and server lag, turn down the graphics settings and stop dling pr0nz in the background to remove as much of the client side lag as you can.

As for the server side stuff, thats NGDs problem.
