Alright so here's the deal, i've got around 80 bucks saved up. The game runs horribly on my system. It's a Athlon 3500+ 512 ram 160G HD Nvidia Nforce 410 onboard graphics card. The question is, since I can only afford only one option, should I go for more ram (1G) or should I buy myself a new graphics card? Which do you think would give a better performance boost? I'm thinking graphics card.

go for the graphics card, then you would also save some ram, because onboard ones steal ram. Which graphic card can you buy with U$S 80?

I'd go for graphic card, but before you commit it'd be better if you ask around what sort works and what don't for Regnum. Don't forget to let people know what OS you're using.

i would go for ram.
i got 1GB and regnum often uses like 4/5 of it.
The memory usage is huge
under linux that is

I run ubuntu 7.10, and I didn't mean I was gonna buy a 80 dollar graphics card...It's just what I have saved up so far :)

This might be better off in General Discussion or something, it's not really a tech support kind of question... at least in the sense that this forum is for.
I'd say that both have their advantages.
If you get another 512MB or 1GB of RAM that'd be good for both Regnum and everything else you do on your computer.
On the other hand, a better graphics card will (like someone else said) mean you have less RAM used for graphics processing, plus increased graphics processing power.
