This is something that Ramona (Snoid) wrote. I know it's not accurate, but I tried to be as poetic as I could without making too many changes. Any correction that you can make to make it sound more natural (keeping as accurately as possible to the original version) is appreciated. I'm not a translator (as you already know), I'm still learning, so please correct my mistakes. :)
Wake up, Ignis!
Honour what you were in the past,
as your memory is your witness:
You fought against the enemies
and you saw them perish.
The night dies in sorrow
and rebirths as a red sun.
Shall it found, as a blast furnace,
the vermillion blood
that runs through your veins.
Your rest has come to an end.
Shine your armor
And wake up your ally.
Today may lose the lush
the high snow, green meadows,
since just the fire will remain.
The heat of the new day
May soon burn the skin
of the damned infidels
that will scream in agony.
And not even Our Great Gods
that created this land,
damned and forever warlike,
will stand their cries.
May your children become men
and shall your old, wise men
long to bless their names.
Your clans as brethren
Shall the world remain fright
for they have the power in their hands.
Wake up, Ignis!
PS: Translating a poem is kind of hard, more than I imagined :tonguey:
