looks like underwater sometimes...

At certain spots in the game such as at the teleporter off of the island and in all of the towns behind the wall there is a big pit that looks like a swimming pool... the NPC's and such and PC's are standing in midair over the "pool." I move forward and fall into the pool ..look up .. and see what looks like water over me... Ive tried everything to fix this... i can see no structures just the NPC and PC's. I have a ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP... with direct x 9.0 installed.. any ideas of what I can do so that I can go into the towns on the "main land" (the two towns in the starting isle are fine...its just when I get on to the main land that I can not see the structures.....

This also happens as soon as I port from the island and on one place on the island itself .... off of the island that has the bridge attached to it where a NPC stands that has to do with a poison quest ( I cant get to her as she is standing in midair over the "pool"...

any ideas of how I might fix that?

try turning your graphics down in the main game options (Hotkey O) tune down terrain multi-texturing, resolution, and any onther option that involves graphics.
