problem loading the game

As of 3/16/08 I could log on and play. Today, I logged on (3/17/08) but cannot successfully completely load the game. The first few tries the game would load my character, but then it would freeze while it was loading the game world. I uninstalled and re-installed the game. The game then loaded all the way to 99%. I was on the map, but could not move or see anyone else, not even NPC's.

Can someone please provide a suggetion as to what I should do. I just started playing and was just starting to fully enjoy the game; it would be a shame to quit so soon.

Any ideas are helpful.

Edit: I have Widows XP.
