Game freezing

Ever since this update the game client seems to freeze and results into the pc freezing.

My pc worked perfectly before this patch which makes me think it has to do with something downloaded from this patch.

Now everytime this problem occurs I have to shutdown the pc manually, I cant end the process of the game nor click on the start menu to start the shutdown because the computer freezes.

I am using Windows XP service pack 2

I have a few clan members that are having this same exact issue.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Can you post hardware specs and configurations, this will help NGD find the problem.

I am haveing the same problem with the client ever sense the las update,
an this hasen't happen before to my computer,the client freezes on me
the whole screen which it dosen't even allow me to end process or anything
else,in result of it i end up shutting down the computer by force :mad:.
i know this problem is happening to few of us players too.

problem still happening even if I turn on safe mode or turn sound and music off.

Yup same here, game freezes and i cant shut the game down have to manually shut off my comp.

This seems to be a sound problem.

After I deactivated the whole sound I had no crashes anymore.

As all other said, this happend since the last update.

I am playing on Vista...

Yeah this crap pisses me off you know when you crash in a battle sometimes you stay alive because you closed the crash box fast so your body leaves regnum before they kill you, with this crap i stay on my comp for about 10 minutes and it happens all the time but it mostly occures when there is more then 500 or more online..you can shut down the game using the menu but ur gonna be waiting for a while.. a long one....

Problem is still happening.

When I turn volume off I dont seem to have a problem, but when its on the game just freezes after I am playing for a long time so I have to manually shutdown the PC and turn it back on (And cycle repeats).

Its definately has to be a sound problem thats causing this to happen, since everytime the weird sound happens the game basically freezes and the PC stops responding.

I have occassional problems which are related to sound.

Every now and again there is a buzzing sound then it stops but my animation goes into slow motion.

I have to relog when it happens - 3 or 4 times a day...

I personally do not have this problem as but, i get the freezes though, but Twinkle has the same problem as yourself, she has tried playing with and without sound, high low graphics settings, safe mode but to no avail, around 7 times a day she has to reboot her pc to get out of the game

I dont have any issues with sound though sometimes sound repeats going out of combat mode, but after playing for a few hrs i sometimes have to hard reset the computer, it doesnt seem to want to exit.

The problem is still happening with me, i try everything, i just have been playing regnum mute for the pass weeks, that the only way the game dosen't freeze on me.

I have enabled force safe mode and switched off the sound it is running better but the question i ask is should we have to go to all this trouble when NGD should be sorting the problem. I hope they do soon bcos i enjoy playing regnum
