So hello!
I really need your help.
I installed Regnum Online first on my gutsy gibbon ubuntu.
Then I upgraded my ubuntu to Hardy Heron.
After that my Regnum Online has been buggy with the graphics.
The colors aren't good and when it loads the game it has some stripes on it. How do I fix that? I have nvidia-glx installed and Asus geforce fx5200 graphic card that worked on gutsy gibbon.
If you need to ask something so feel free to ask on PM or here.
Thanks for help! - naadde
Sounds like the issue with the nvidia drivers.
Get the latest beta drivers from nvidia.com and install them.

The problem starst when you actually upgrade. The HH uses the newest "nvidia-glx-new". In some cases the problem can by solved by deleting the new one and installing back the old drivers in Synaptic. I dont think the beta drivers will solved this issue.

naadde,
Unfortunately, nvidia-glx is just an alias for nvidia-glx-new, which does not support the FX series.
It is only for GeForce 6 and newer series graphics cards.
You will need to downgrade your drivers to nivida-glx-legacy and restart the X server.
Regards.

naadde,
This is an advanced problem that involves blacklisting the old kernel module so that the new one gets loaded.
It happens any time you install multiple types of drivers for the same device.
You'll have to ask on a Linux-specific forum how to find and blacklist the old kernel module.
