Hi,
because of my login problems with the Linuxclient, i tried to launche the programm via cedega. But I encountered the problem that the mousepointer is hidden.
Any clue how i could fix it?

The color cursor support Regnum uses seems to not be implemented in cedega/wine.
Sorry :(

can't say I every had any success with cedega or wine on ubuntu and hevn't tried yet on suse 10.2 - the linux client stabilised a lot over the last couple of months.
It is possable to get it working with a few patches to the wine code, I stubbed a few missing functions but didn't have the time to mess futher (or the inclication, given that the native client had been ok for me) - the result was, predictably, messed up colours and a dodgy cursor :)

Kartenzwerg, I'm going to guess you're using a client that has SELinux on it, because that is the only time I've heard of problems with the Linux client. In that case, in your application menu, there should be an "Administration" tab, or something like that. Inside that sub-menu should be a "Security and.." the last part I can't remember because I'm on my windows system atm. In that application, after typing in your root password, there should be a Firewall tab, and a SELinux tab. Under the SELinux tab, set the status to "Permissive" instead of "Enforced." The Linux version of the game should now work, but I have yet to get OpenAL working, so you just need to put on music from a different app, or turn on your radio (I think there's a thread about getting OpenAL working for Linux, somewhere..).

hmmm - have you tried the posts from the sticky thread or OpenAL ?
http://www.regnumonlinegame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1617
they seem to be a fairly universal solution (ubuntu, suse, gentoo so far)
If it still can't get the sound device make sure you're not running amarok, jukebox or helix in the background - that seems to lock the device, OSS & alsa don't mix too well i've noticed :)
There are ways around that for for the most part I can't be asked to mess with that - easier to just turn off alsa-utilising programs before running regum :p

Personally, it doesn't bother me that OpenAL doesn't work. Having no sound has never been a huge problem because I always listen to music when I play MMO's anyways. Thank you for the link though, I'll probably solve that problem at some point (I like "leveling up" in Linux, makes me feel awesome.

Where does it not load? It happened to me too after I pressed play in the launcher, apparently it needs to download the resources first.
