Hi,

Beware, with the latest Xorg from Debian testing, you will have to update your nvidia driver to version 173.14.05. So before rebooting after doing an apt-get upgrade, don't forget to download the latest nivida drivers !!!!

Btw, had some performance improvements about FPS :p (+10%). And it's stable not like 169.x series that sucked.

Hi,

A recent update of Xorg breaks the glx system, you will have to reinstall the nvidia drivers, here is the version of xorg involved :

ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.4.1~git20080517-2 Xorg X server - core server

Until the reinstall is done you will get the "no graphic card found" thingy ;)

It's also a good idea to reinstall the nvidia drivers after you update the package libgl1-mesa-glx, this package contains another libGL.so and overwrites the symlink that points to nvidia's libGL to that version. You can also manually symlink it. If you run the nvidia driver with the link to libgl1-mesa-glx's libGL.so it will still run relatively good but with noticable choppiness due to agp not being accelerated.
