Darkside Tournament

This is an event planned by members of The Darkside of Ignis. It will take place on experimental server Amun.
Our tournament is diferent of the others because instead of 1v1, it is 2v2 in order to test the team work of the players.
All 3 realms people can participate.

The rules are:
-you have to be an english speaker
-your char lvl must be lvl 40 or above
-every subclass combinations are allowed (conju and barb, hunter and marksman...)
-you must respect the others so that they respect you...

There is no price (only rps...)

The max number of teams is 32.
If you want to participate get a friend and make chat ingame to "Evilblue" or "Axe" if you're in ignis ofc...or send a pm (in case you do this then plz write your subclasses and lvls)

*when we have all teams there'll be a poll to choose the best day and hour for the tournament

we have already decided the tournament will take place on the first week of september due to lots of people being on vacations, others want to sign in but they need to lvl up and stuff :P

If you manage to make big tournament, and get many competitors and take this really serious, community manager or/and one of admins could be supportive for this community event and make latest copy of Ra on Amun couple of days before tournament so everyone can have all their gear from Ra. Also, if admins are willing to keep order and support this initiation, it can be even held on Ra maybe. All depends on your organisation guys :)
Personally, I would like to see that NGD supports and encourage such community organised happenings.

Btw Does anybody volunteer for sparring on experimental? I'd like to train a bit more vs teams with knight and/or hunter (did I mention that I believe that either hunters or knights will win? The outcome of LaFragua tournament at least gives me a little clue ^^). Could need some fine tuning against those classes. Had some good moments lately but some really bad as well.

Support conju in a 2vs2 is really not necessarily the most effective choice but well, it is a game :p, and Znurre kills U all anyway, so it doesn't matter if I suck xDDDDD.

it has to be realm related =p besides...if you had a team ignis knight/syrtis marksman and had to fight an ignis team (or syrtis) one of you wouldn't be able to attack since you're in the same realm

Nah thats unorganized, in the case of something like that happening it should be the 2 syrtians fight against the best pick from the other realm, get 3 judges from ea realm and let them decide who fought the best (not winning or losing, but by skill and style)

There is also problem with arena.
First, its very area limited, areas can hit my mate and some of the key spells in arena dont work (escapist).
I m just curious how you are planning to cover all those "problems" when facing 2 same realm teams. Good planned tournament is half way of success.
I heard earlier before there was similar event near Samal(?). I even saw videos about it, so that might help you in better planning, using experience from there.
I m really interested to join, will say my status at the end of August (holiday)

Nah, communication between all the guys/girls organising it broke before it was finnalised, so it failed.

I'll be trying again when i have time to set another one up though.
