Okay. I've tried to enable the sound ingame, but when I try to start the client it hangs up on the ati/amd logo. I'm able to move the cursor, but the only way to exit the client is to kill the Xserver. Any idea?
Running openSuSE 10.2
Strange thing is I once managed to get past the damn logo but the game ran so slowly I could barely press the Quit button.
My computer specs:
Intel Pentium D 3.4Ghz
1GB Ram, 667Mhz
Integrated Intel Audiocard

(La proxima versión del instalador lo traerá incorporado)

Hmmm no Wyatt, there is no such thing as a regnum linux installer (yet) OpenAL library must be installed from your distro. (Or by hand)

open al is already installed. I'm not that damn noobish :)
That was ofcourse the first thing i checked, as I have got a quite big experience with Linux.
Both openal, and the devel packages are installed.
No missing libs.
Still aint working.
I'm thinking about compiling openal myself, but i guess it wont help.

I am using openSUSE 10.2 (64-bit) and I can see a glimpse of a console before the game stats saying that it can't load some libopenal thing even tho i have both openal, 32-bit libs and dev package installed...

I just had to make a symbolic link from /usr/lib/libopenal.so.0.0.0 to /usr/lib/libopenal.so and then put my soundcard into /etc/openalrc for the sound to work

hopefully the necessary files will be on the same place on SuSE as ubuntu (not a given)
edit /etc/openalrc and replace the line (define devices '(default) with (define devices '(native)

Znurre@Znurre:~> ls /usr/lib | grep openal
libopenal.a
libopenal.la
libopenal.so
libopenal.so.0
libopenal.so.0.0.0
Content of /etc/openalrc:
(define devices '(alsa native))
;; uncomment this to output via the 2nd soundcard
;;(define alsa-device "plughw:2,0")
SO I guess everything is alright.
I aint getting any error output from Regnum.
