There will be a new button , "Challenge".

When u select another player and click on it, the player gets a message:
XXXX has challenged you to a duel!

If you select yes, a window will pop up, labeled "Options". Here the challenger can select the fight area [In check boxes, Free-Roam, 1000, 5000, 10000. You woudent be able to leave the selected radius] If you do try to leave the Realm, and go through the wall, you forfeit.

After you accept, it opens up another window, this looks similar to the trade window. Your box on the left and the challengers box on the right [just like the trade window].

The window will be labeled "Bets", you can pit something in the box [items or gold] and so will your challenger, after accepted, both challengers loose the "bet" items/gold. If you win you get your items back+his.
[Betting nothing is allowed]

-To challenge someone, you cannot be under attack.
After you and he selects accept. A timer starts. IN that timer, you cannot attack nor be attacked. When it hits 0. FIGHT!

You can challenge people anywhere inside the realm walls.
So when the timer hits 0, you can battle anywhere in the realm. Use the terrain to your advantage, you can run away, attack, defend, anything, you have the freedom to move.

If you and the challenger have a separate parties, the party leaders can challenge each other. This will innate a Party War. The leader of the party gets the winnings, ad he may trade it between his team mates [or stab them in the back :naughty:]

The arena could still be used as a place for FFA.
But it might become obsolete after this.
But i think its worth it, this system would be more fun to play.

make it impossible to sit down while fighting and make a timeout. After timeout, the player with most hp wins. Force a count-down timer for every duel, wouldn't that be better? Options to pick:
Time of the match [none is an option]
Resting allowed

I would be happy with a simple
duel or spar option to challenge allies.

Also other realm players should be able to atk you otherwise players could chaallange each other and run about loling at any one who trys to kill them

I typed it in the 1st post, if you try to leave you realm while the fight is going on, you forefit.

Also you cannot attack mobs, nor they you.

I feel really strongly about this idea, and i think it would add that much fun to the game.
fight anywhere you want, groups of people watching the fight. And a new way to earn money.
I think this really should be considered being implemented into the game, and would get rid of the boring Inner-Realm PvP

id much rather fight out of the arena than in it, its a real nerf to the ranged classes in there and high warriors rule the place.

So when I'm losing I can just run away, and somehow if I'm fast enough my oppenent can't even find me anymore.... how is the winner chosen then? Or I could run away, camo, rest, track my enemy and kill him out of camo?
another problem would be for example conjurer vs conjurer or warlock vs conjurer: Sometimes they can fight for a really long time (both heal enough/ one heals, one drains) I would suggest: make it impossible to sit down while fighting and make a timeout. After timeout, the player with most hp wins.

Rember u can choose fight radius, there would be a option to pick a real small realm.

That is a excellent idea though

I like the idea. But why sit down in a fight? Force a count-down timer for every duel, wouldn't that be better?

the thing is, you can choose what kind of fight it will be, a massive one, hide heal ambush anything, or a 1v1 deathmatch no running

you can choose the radius of play
a time would help 2

It's a good idea, I like the fact that it allows combat outside of the buggy Coli, and works closer to WZ rules. I would like it to be done in the WZ, since more skilled people are usually outside the gates. And yes, allow other realms to attack during a duel. Otherwise I'd get a bizillon pts asking for a challenge....well that wouldn't be too bad. :naughty:

inner-PvP outside the realm wall, in the wz would be unbalanced and harder to make [i think] i think the fights should stay inside the realm.

y whould you want to be attacked by someone in a PvP?

and if pt's keep bugging u for a fight, accept [dont forget to gamble BIG so u get some $$ in return :naughty: ]

I think it would be more dramatic for players to choose the location of their fight. The bottom of Pozo, inside castles, on fort walls, etc. As mentioned earlier, allowing other realm enemies to attack, prevents people from using 'Challenge' as a method of escape (two hunters 'challenge' each other, and become immune to attacks while fleeing an enemy army)

Whereever u select challenge, u fight there. So it still is ur choice.

If its inner realm only, then you wont have to worry about using it to flee.
-I have already written before, Inner-Realm Only.

u cant begin a fight if u are under attack or such from mobs.

It's not a duel ... It's a dumb circus fight ... It's useless

ok i like the idea, but i think you should be able to duel in the wz. How about you can only duel if both participants have 100% hp, and neither can have any buffs active when challenging each other. That would prevent most abuse that would occur. Also, would rp be gained by the victor? For unmatched fights (like a lvl 50 vs a lvl 30) perhaps the lvl 50 could choose a handicap if they want?
This idea has potential, but I want something that can be used and not abused by all levels where and when it's convenient, which would be hard to pull off I think :juggle: but worth it :swordfight:
