Lately I've seen the number of people posting in unreadable English increase.
There have always been some people that have never heard of punctuation and grammar and don't know how to spell. Together with people that think BrEaZaH(is that how you call it?) is cool it makes following topics hard -- even though the content of their posts is often of a miserable quality.
I ask everyone to at least try to write reasonable English and don't forget to use the Shift key. Please.
Since school has started again here, I have less time. Trying to read those malformed posts takes too much time, so I won't do that anymore. If you want me to read your posts, make it look like you want me to read it, otherwise I won't. I boycott them starting now.

Five stars from me and also you get full support :p
Imagine it's the same in other languages when I try to hire someone from poland. They hurt the language and they don't even know it. The education is a massacre

Totally agreed. It's not that difficult to put commas in a sentence, nor a period at its end.

I agree too.
If you can't write properly in English you should not be at the English forums at all imo.

I do not agree on this, not everyone does it on purpose, they just have to improve and this is the place to do it :)

It is a little bit hard. Didn't we enjoy a couple of Gigo's rhetorics before? Atleast a couple of them? There are times when we end up with typos and didn't realize that. However, the fact that there are some who deliberately messes the language, thinking it would exude some coolness, is not cool at all.
Besides, we could also give a chance for the non-english speaking people to improve on the language itself, by guiding or correcting them. Not barring them.

Just a couple of corrections “Grammar “wise, I’ve and don’t are slang English commonly used all the time but not the best grammar.
I boycott them starting now …. Should be ….. I will boycott them starting now. (Or similar word inserted).
(Is that how you call it?) Should be (is that how you say it?).
Not everyone speaks or writes Queens English. Hell I included myself on that one, but also many of the people you aim this at are not native English and are young and still learning.
Others may not have had a high standard of education that some people are lucky to get.
I understand you may find it frustrating, but is that any reason to be rude to people or dictate how they should write or speak.
I do agree that people who write “BrEaZaH” as you call it dose make it hard for even English people to understand it. That is totally unnecessary.
At the end of the day if you can’t understand what someone has put down move on to the next one.
Bitch !!! bitch!!!! bitch !!!! and shyt posts are all you get in this forum nothing earth shattering or life changing .
Have a nice day

Extension to my reply; sorry for double posting.
But I do appreciate Yest's objective with this matter. Trying to implement unto others to try to post as appropriate as it should be. I, myself, do not speak English as my first language. However, I try to my utmost capability to be understandable (though the context is vague). Due to the fact that everyone here do speak English and the least on other languages. It's just the intensity of his reaction that bothers me a little.

I knew this one, but it's still funny. I do agree that we shouldn't all start to write Queen's English, although I could have said that clearer in my first post. However, you could at least try to write something readable. I keep repeating this, but punctuation is really important here. Writing cannot and do not everywhere is a bit too much work. ;) It was about trying to post something readable, although I think I forgot to add some nuance to my post, or made it too small. I do have to say though that a lot of people that write really bad Engish/street language seem to be native English speakers that write the same stuff they speak with their mates. I could be terribly wrong -- please don't shoot me -- but that's what it seems like to me.
Again, I don't want everyone to write perfect English, I wouldn't be able to that myself. ;)

I agree that there are some bad examples of written english to be found in the forums, according to your desired standards im certainly one of them (<-- shift key example at eta -4 + missing interpunction).
But in principle, i disagree: Some persons dont know to write better, to them such a demand must seem arrogant - do you not talk to foreigners because they dont match your language standards? Do you want them to not express themselves because it might have some demands to your braincells?
Furthermore, I fail to see the problem: Language is a medium of transporting information from a sender to a recipient. If you dont want to read a certain forum post (like this one? SHIFT KEY! interpunction!) why dont you just conclude that the attempt of establishing communication failed and ignore the post? Its the beauty of a forum that noone forces you to read anything.

You know, its not all about interpunction, paragraphing really helps structuring posts, too. scnr.

Look, I'm not a natural english speaker. It took me years, and a lots of practice to understand and be able to make others understand me in english.
I don't have a problem with, let's say, a russian dude who is doing his best.
However... I take it ver bad when someone from an english speaking country goes all "leet" and speaks like an idiot. It's not only hard to understand, but it's also a mockery to all my years of effort learning english.

While i wouldn't choose you as an example of bad written expression Zord and i do agree on your points of a) people writing to the best of their abilities and b) liberally applying the ignore function to those who are just an annoyance i would like to add a few thoughts of myself concerning the matter at hand.
First of all, when i write something, be it a forum post, a letter or just a cell phone text message i take pride in trying to express myself as clear and concise and at the same time as eloquently as possible.
On the net people do not see your face, they do not really get to know your character, your whole persona.
While you can abstract from what you read, your online ego is formed mainly by how you express yourself.
Somebody who writes like, lets say gigo, will not be taken as seriously as you or me, for the simple reason that his way of expressing himself shows him as the equivalent of the smelly beggar asking for change on your morning commute in the subway.
If you do not take pride in how you write it reflects on you the same way on the net as if you didn't shower regularly in your daily life.
I am not on the side of grammar nazis or similar people, i am just adding that as you should take pride in what you write, trying to formulate as good as you can is something that is in my view required when you post both for the sake of how people view you and your personal pride in your opinion.
Besides, it is a long standing rule on the internet that, since let us say 50 people read what you write, making your post as readable and clear as possible is a courtesy extended to all those who might stumble upon your opinion.
So i am most definitely in favor of, if not perfect english, then at least in taking the time to do your best and trying to improve as you go along.

As long as you use proper punctuation, which you did. ^^
It's pretty funny though
As for the post, I appreciate it if people try to speak proper English. If they fail to make themselves clear, no problem, I will try to help out. It's the same thing when I speak Spanish. I mess some words up too, but all I can do is try to be as clear as possible.
What I have a problem with is an extreme use of abbreviations. This can really make a conversation unclear.
It's okay in wars though, or any situation where you have to be fast. But many people use abbreviations in all conversations.
