Linux windowed mode?

Is it possible to put Regnum Online into windowed mode on a Linux machine?

I am using the Fluxbox window manager on Slackware 12.1.

Yes, you can either hit alt-enter with the client focused, or you can select starting it in windowed or fullscreen from the options menu in the launcher.

The game launches correctly into windowed mode when I click that option in rolauncher. Then, when the game is started, and I press alt-enter, the game correctly goes into full screen mode.

However, if I press alt-enter again to go from full-screen to windowed mode at this point -- or if I start the game in fullscreen mode and then press alt-enter -- I get a garbled screen.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before?

The last day(s) I got kernel panic when trying to exit fullscreen mode (using Alt-Enter). Don't know if it was just bad luck, or if there's actually something wrong with the current client..

I have had problems with fullscreen-mode also.
I solved them however by doing a window that is fullsize (1600x1200) and setup my windowmanager so it is located over the complete screen with no boarders or decorations. This is easy done in Fluxbox if you use this WM.

This also makes it possible to change application during game, and with "Sloppy focus" on mouse it gets really good. I can use AMsn the same time I am playing!

Fullscreen-mode is really buggy on my computer, but this is a way to solve the problems.

My hardware:
* Amd64x2, 6000+, overclocked to ~3200mhz * 2
* 4gb RAM, 1066MHZ
* NVidia 8800GTX (512mb), overclocked some

My system:
* Gentoo, 64bits.
