View Full Version : Resources not being downloaded

If I use the horus server then the resource download thing fades out to black immediately and I get "Downloading: 99%" stuck on the top left and a black screen that never goes away.

Ra and Amun are different. The resource download thing works, only at 25-100 bytes/sec. I tried using the 'download all resources' option and for two or three times when the download got stuck I restarted the game and it proceeded to download an update (17mb, 28mb then another 20 something mb I think) each time the number of resources being downloaded in-game decreases. But it's stuck on "Downloading 37 resources from the web"

I'm not sure what to do, any help would be appreciated. Also aren't the servers supposed to be identical?

Hello mnzaki,

Can you try deleting the LiveServer folder in your Regnum Online directory and try again?

If that dont work, please download the latest installer and see if it works.

There's no LiveServer directory, but there's a 'live' directory. I have the latest installer, just got it two days ago. I deleted the live directory (and the 'test' directory too btw) and now it's downloading all the resources again (but not in-game, so it's very fast. I hope it works........

Hopefully it does. if not try to download the latest installer from the site.

Nope, doesn't work. It insists on finishing the downloads in-game. I have tried using the 'download all resources' option too but it still tries to finish the downloads in-game at about 100 bytes/sec.

Actually sometimes it gets to the realm screen and when I try to click play it tells me can't play now because it's loading the language resources (at a 100 bytes of course). If I try to click on create new character it shows the resource download screen again and the download rate jumps to 13kb or so for 2 or 3 seconds then back to 100~ bytes

I've the same problem. I use Debian and when i click in "enter the world" i have a transfer rate of 26 bytes/s in download the resources
