I have a radeon video card. When I try to launch regnum I get the message "unsupported video card".
I have in the past upgraded my video driver and the game works... so it can't simply be my card. Also, for some reason when I upgrade my driver I no longer have direct rendering, so things go a little slower and some things don't even work. I have reverted back to my old driver.
What bothers me though, is that even though I upgrade and i don't have direct rendering, I can still run regnum just fine.. so why the **** can't I just run it with the video driver I have now without having to upgrade? I'm pretty sure it would even run BETTER, so that message box that prevents me from playing is the problem. why do they have to tell me my card isn't unsupported, why can't they just suggest that I upgrade, and then let me play anyway like in other games, why do they have to completely block me from playing the game when I am 90% sure that the game will run just fine with my video card and my current driver?
So in addition to all of those questions, I'd like to ask if there is a way to bypass this and play the game?
and I would also like to add as a side note, a suggestion to the developers to remove this message, at least just replace it with a message that suggests you upgrade and says "continue at your own risk" or something.
