Game won't start in Windows Vista

The game won't start in Windows Vista. I have run it as admin,shut down the firewall and even moved it to my desktop and i can't get it running :( anyone who got any ideas?

Try this :

If you have installed Regnum Online to your Program Files folder I recommend to install again in "C:\Games\Regnum Online" or something like that. Windows Vista "protects" Program Files folder, so you might no be able to write files there.

I run both Vista HP and Ubuntu 8.10, I didn't have any problems running the game in vista, but I am the sole user of the machine and its the main admin account, the fix already mentioned should help you solve your problem :)

Did you install the game and running as administrator user?. Try to install the game in a folder except program files or /game/regnum.

Try to search the registry if some part is refering to some folder that do not exist.

I installed this game at 32bit m$ vista home premium sp1 (and all patches) using windows monkey method (clicking next buttons as fast as it is possible:tonguey: ) and game works fine. When game crushes? Do you have newest drivers for graphic?
Vista and its drivers are really buggy..

i had the same exact problem. k. right click on regnum online. go to run as administrator, and go to allow. then it will start normally. but u will need to do this every time u play.
