I want to see some negative RPs in the game.
Each time you have been killed, you will loose the RPs you gave to ennemy from your RPs counter.

How about that ?

The problem with something like this is that some classes will benefit way more from it than others, further increasing the unbalance in RP obtaining between the classes.

my 2 cents:
I'm against it. I'd prefer reputation points in the manner if you kill unchies/camp you get negative rep points and it somehow limits the things you can do in towns (like npc's you can visit etc...). ofc, with better rep it's other way around.

I'd like it to just stay as it is, don't want fights to be based upon some kind of point system which could somehow ruin the whole aspect of tactics in a fight.

I have heard that people now already have a problem with charging an I can only confirm this, it'll only be worse if people are afraid to lose rps for dying

In real life people are also afraid to die. A penalty for dying wouldn't be bad.

you're comparing real life to a game?

I think it's ok that there's no penalty for dying, this add to a fast and dynamic gameplay

dont forget, rp not eq to good fighting. I can save my whole group the ass by stopping random wls casting sultars but the shitload of rp could go to some semi afk mc&gh spamming conj. (just a bad example, cudos to all the awesome conjs around where thanks often dont get through the fighting hassle ;-) )

As rp cant reward good fighting negative rp couldnt show bad, so the rp balance wouldnt have any meaning.

But some statistics more meaningful then the current rp one id also like to see. You just know someone with much of'em has engaged in many fights. Not less meaning but also nothing more..

great idea -.- when i die ill loose 16 (or 17) rps all the time... if i want or not... and thats sometimes more then i earn in wars...

You really think conjus get that much rp for mc&gh ?
I'm a conju and I can tell ya I'm getting more rp from mental skills, enchantments and normal healing than from gf (i don't use mc).

on topic:
I'm against negative rp. The classes and setups that are more vulnerable and so die faster and more often, would get less rp than they lose and their rp balance would be negative (<0).

anything showing the rate between the RPs you get and the RPs you gave is surely the best idea.
