Problems after update

Hi. After downloading new patch and updating game I try to enter the game world only for the game to freeze and hang on a black screen. Curious as to whether this has happened to anybody else and any possible solutions because before the update the game ran fine without any problems. I'm considering redownloading the game but any insight on the issue would be helpful.

The same thing is happening to me, i'm using Windows Xp. I downloaded the patch and try to run the game, i get the NGD logo and the into movie to the game. After that i'm left with a frozen black screen. I too have considered re-dowmloading the game. but came here first.

Delete Live server folder, then try again. Game will start downloading again. Also uncheck option "download all at once" since its not completely working correct and can even cause client just hanging on black screen or loading one resource for 1 hour.
If nothing, reinstall game, and uncheck "download all at once".

it's happening to me too

i tried this and it stopped the first problem, but now i am crashing every 10 minutes and lag when i'm running is unfreakinbelievable

what happened with this last update? I have never had problems in horus till now, other than huge invasion type armies meeting up...
