When trying to launch Regnum, I got this message:
Unsupported video card!
There are three possible causes for this error:
1. Your video card is too old
2. You haven't installed the latest available drivers
3. You haven't installed the latest DirectX version
I am on Ubuntu with a Radeon Xpress 200g Series
Can anyone offer any insight on this, if I will be able to play?

This solved my problem too. Hopefully the devs can put in a more meaningful error message, especially one that doesn't refer to DirectX on the linux clients.

I notice that link refers to ATI cards... glxinfo gives me:
OpenGL vendor string: Tungsten Graphics, Inc
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Mobile IntelŪ GM45 Express Chipset GEM 20091221 2009Q4 x86/MMX/SSE2
OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.7.1
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20
OpenGL extensions:
I see a couple items about 'mesa' which is what i'd be trying to install, but I'd not want to go through all that stuff and mess up my system if it wasn't even supposed to be for an intel integrated card in the first place.
I realize this is an old thread, but I'm digging anywhere I can trying to get info, and it looked like it could help me. Any help appreciated. thanks.
