NGD: A week long ban please

Sounds like AA won't do any good here XD Umm...yeah some people will have difficulty escaping an addiction/very high interest of something.

I'd normally say "Just turn off your computer and read a book!"

But seriously if you REALLY need help on this....then simply put, focus your attention on something else. As I like to say "Out of sight, out of mind." Meaning that if you don't pay attention to something up to the point where you don't even LOOK at it, then you won't think about it. For example if you were to try and forget about your computer, and not even look at your computer, then you'll eventually get used to NOT going on it daily, or you might even forget about it. Plus if you put your attention on something else at the exact same moment (i.e.: reading a novel that sounds interesting) then that might help out your mentality, seeing that you're basically distracting your mind...however, in order to do this, it's a matter of convincing yourself. If you don't convince yourself then it'll be difficult to even start. If you have friends that are willing to help then ask them too. You just need to adjust yourself and what you do daily. It's not that hard, it's all a matter of knocking some sense in your own head :P
