Trouble downloading the 1.0.3 version?

I open up the Regnum client, log in and it starts automatically downloading the new 1.0.3 version. It starts out at 0 / 3048kb and goes on downloading. Once it finishes downloading, the client disappears and comes back like a second later and starts downloading again at 0 / 3048kb. I've already downloaded it like 6 times over and nothing changes. At one point it said something about null hostname but that went away and the client went back to trying to download the new version again.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I dont have this. I download all but when the small window appears with the checking firewall message, above it i have an error message and i cant enter. So, i uninstaled regnum and instaled again but ince my game instaler is from beta it doesent work enymore so i have to wait till i download the new instaler.

When mine tried to update it got struck to firewall message too. I deleted LIVE folder and restarted game. All went well after that - patch downloaded, resources downloaded.

The only problem I noticed when I logged in for the first time after the update was not all NPCs showing. For example I couldn't go back to inner realm beacause there was no teleporter. Some waiting (for res download) + relog solved the problem.

Hi Sparkle,

When this happens, a third party program may be blocking Regnum Online launcher to modify files in its folder. You can try adding RegnumOnline.exe to the exceptions of your antivirus/firewall programs or just do it manually:

Go to Regnum Online's folder and rename the launcher (RegnumOnline.exe) to "RegnumOnlineOld.exe", for example, and then execute it. Anyways, if file modification is not being allowed this may not work.

I just ended up reinstalling the game and it works fine now.

Regnum was already in the exceptions of my firewall and I turned my anti-virus off but I still had the same problem.

I don't know what happened..

EDIT- Nevermind the problem is back. I played for like 5 minutes, and logged out because I wanted to change the graphics settings. Once I tried playing again it got stuck with the 0 / 3048kb problem again.

I tried reinstalling again and I still have the problem.

I dont think i need to make a new thread but i dowload ll the way and get to the install but at the end of setup i get this message:

NSIS Error: The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete, This could be the result of a damged disk, a failed download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of the installer to obtain a new copy.
