Loading hangs at downloading resources

I've been trying to get Regnum installed and running today. The installation went smoothly, but once I try to actually load the game it hangs at "downloading resources." I have tried it both with and without "update all new resources" and have even tried it on 2 separate computers (one with Suse 11.1 and one with Fedora 10). I have opened the suggested UDP port on my firewall from a previous thread, but still no changes. I have even tried to run it in "Force Safe Mode" with no success. Any suggestions you have would be much appreciated.

I am having the same problem. The file you linked to is an exe. I need a linux version. I'm assuming exe would point towards it being a windows resource pack? or does it matter? If it doesn't matter I can just extract the .exe and dump it all to the regnum directory.

Personally I don't use linux but Regnum do share the same resources for the game on both clients I believe.

You can try and see if it works, If it don't I suggest you try and download the game again.

At this point I have re-downloaded and re-installed the game a couple different times with no changes. As I said before, I've tried it on 2 different systems with 2 different distros (one is 32 and one is 64 bit even!) and I'm still getting the same results. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
