Illegal instruction

Hi

After pressing the login button the window is closed and i get "Illegal instruction" in the terminal.

I'm on ubuntu 8.04 32bit with openbox, i opened the port 9960 and i tried the "export MALLOC_CHECK_=1" script, it didnt work.

ive gotten the same problem on my new(well better then old) computer, i looked it up and illegal instructions has something to do with the processor not being able to do that on it. this computer has a AMD Athlon processor. it may just mean its unsupported i really dont know, ill look into it a while.

I think your on the right track , i also have AMD Athlon.

so far ive just gotten around it by playing regnum in wine, and it works fine.

i have AMD thunderbird too with the same problem, solved by using wine but it lag a lot, NGD shall you help us?:thumb_up:

NGD please help us, why in wine the game works? is there particolar reason? i read that wine have only 256 MB of virtual ram so my game lag plese HELP, NGD :guitar:
