Have you ever just sat down and just thought of...well everything? I don't mean about what you may do on a daily basis, I mean just on things outside our concept. One day I was sitting at my office doing nothing (Well there wasn't much to do for us Tech-Ops. This was after taking a few water samples xD lol) and I decided to write a few of my...well 'thoughts' down on some paper.

This is what I came up with:

Time

We define this as something
in regards to what is around us,
which means that it would be something
beyond our human concept.
Although time is a strange thing,
when thought of.
We watch it, observe it, always on top of it,
keeping track of when it changes.
As if to say we are 'obeying' it by acknowledging
its existence.
"It's 12:00! Time to eat lunch!"
Yet it seems no one has wondered what life would be like
without this time.
To free oneself from the bond
we have attached to our wrists.
A possibility no individual may ever wonder about....
because we don't have the "time" to think about it....

Questions

To question,
or to wonder?
An idea generated within the mind,
as curiosity settles in and
overtakes you.
Our minds want to reach out,
to learn.
To establish as much as we possibly can.
Yet...the real question really seems to be
"choice."
What we choose to learn,
or fail to listen to...a complex method.
This is...questionable...

Limits

Limits,
do you set them,
or do they set you?
Will you be able to reach beyond them,
and perceive what is true?
An invisible barrier
that is invisible to the human eye.
But whether we can break beyond
this barrier,
is based on how hard we try.
In turn, limits can hinder us and help us dear.
But to be able to determine that,
we'd need to not have any fear...
To learn your limit...

Well I only thought up of those within about 15 minutes just sitting there...I like to sit back and just think....How about you?

Edit: The breaks looked way off lol so I fixed it up.

I have some thoughts :)

Software:

There is a big difference between software and hardware. Software is the thing you curse, while hardware is the thing you can kick.

Percussive maintenance:

Why is it, that things start to work, when you beat the crap out of it? Or even when you threaten to? Weird.

On the issue of time - you really should look at the first (two, it's a double) episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. They somewhat try to define the concept of "linear time". Pretty interesting, even thou it's a bit dopey.

Star Trek? You know what, I've only heard of those shows. However I never watched a day of them in my life. xD I found it funny how you mentioned that. But none the less that sounds interesting :)
