Wonder why XP was not an option...
I know Ignis had this as well once (and voted -xp for syrtis -.-) but I assumed it was becuase they allready had the xp bonus on? Yet the Syrtis one ended 20 odd hours before the portal opened the second time...

Well i don't know for sure but maybe you can't have a constant exp bonus maybe you need to always choose a second option

On the spanish forums NGD has confirmed that you were never meant to be able to have the same wish twice in a row.
But, it wasn't working at first.

Hmmm yeah. I'm usually completely against save camping, but they sort-of deserved it today! Still, it was good fun - for both sides, I'm sure :devil: .

In all sincerity, congratulations!
When we didn't have the xp bonus available, we figured it was because of our underpop bonus, but at our next invasion, it was back. I don't know if we ever found the reason for that...

There's a post by surak on the spanish forums that says that it was never intended for a realm to be able to vote for the same wish twice in a row; It didn't work at first but now it works. They also apologized for not having mentioned this earlier.

Did you noticed that capturing of Alsius was much more hard then capturing Ignis?

You are completely right: capturing Alsisu has been much more hard then capturing ignis, not only this time but also during the first Syrst invasion (when Alsius did a great defend of Imperia).
So congratulation to all Syrts but also to Alsius for the very good defend of their realm (no comment about ignis, only few of them were online)

lol did u notice how easy it was to invade syrtis last night? that gate went down... its easy when no1 is online way to brag about it? syrtis and alsius lovers for life i suppose, since u 2 must always team up against ignis to have a chance, w/e

Both times Syrtis has opened the portal there's been so many of them they wouldn't need help even if they were all level 10. Okay, that's an exagurration but anyway. They can get a good zerg together without alsius's help.
BTW you guys should do a "There can only be one" next time you do it (and I'm sure you will do it now that you know you can), I want to see who comes out on top.

Im sorry if people have "bragged" but lets just go look at the first 3/4 Ignis Invasion threads and see some REAL bragging, you know were every other post goes like this
"Ya we pwned syrtis wit ease cuz' we pwn and they iz shit :D"
At least I guess this proves once and for all that 90% of the time on horus it is nerly impossible to invade in "peak" times, since every invasion I have seen durein peak times has failed epicaly, yet all those on "down times" have gone very well for both Ignis and Syrtis.
