Download DirextX from the following link: DirectX download section (http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/AboutGFW/Pages/DirectX10-a.aspx).

This should solve your problem.

You can check if your graphic card drivers are up to date.

You can try changing renderer to OpenGl instead of DirectX.

its up to date, and i am not given a choice for open gl, it used to but now the only choice there is direct 3D, ive downloaded the Direct x file again and it still shows the same message? is there anything else i can do?
