Ongoing issues with launching the game

I downloaded this game about 2 months ago. Since then I had tried, every now and then, to launch it. There were update files to install, and the download was terribly slow and finally stopped altogether every time, or I was stuck at 'verifying' without even getting to the udpates.

It was only yesterday that I was finally able to download all update files at a relatively normal speed and play the game for the first time (and enjoyed what I encountered in the game).

I was hoping that now the problems were finally over, however, today when launching the game, I remain stuck again at stage 'verifying' (like so many times before).

It's a pity, because from what I saw the first time I was able to play, it's a good game, and it was stable while I was playing it yesterday.

Hello Naama,

From what I can see, it's hard to tell whether this is our issue or yours.
So, let me ask you some questions to better pinpoint the problem:
- Country.
- Internet connection (Dial-Up, ADSL, CableModem, Wi-fi, etc).
- Are you running other programs that could be clogging your connection? (e-mule, bit-torrent clients, sending emails, downloading, etc). Which ones?
- Do you have a firewall activated? Which one?
- Do you have a proxy server provided by your ISP?

Country - Israel
Internet Connection - ADSL
Running other programs - No
Firewall - Yes, IPTables - NAT
Proxy Server - No

Any further input on this? Because the issue keeps persisting. I'm trying every day to launch the game, and am stuck at the update again (as apparently there is a new update again now).

Some time has passed and while initially someone from support has replied unfortunately I have not heard anything further.

The problem persists. I have not been able to actually play except for one time.

Now there is a new update patch, and I'm stuck again at '0kb of 7597kb'. It's not moving.

In case the files are being downloaded via ftp, can the GM/Admin please advise if there is a way to configure the download to use active ftp?
