This is a translation I made from the post Makox wrote (http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum/showthread.php?t=40493) in the spanish "Taberna".

Here it goes:

"In another post, someone reminded me old times we lived in Alsius .. That is why I've decided to start a movement to restore the best of this kingdom together .. But you've got to have one thing clear... We'll be better, if and only if, all of you (Alsius) are together.

I base my arguments on the movie "Pay it forward" ("Chain of favours") but I'd like to make a sensible difference. This is not a personal question... I'd like to give an incentive to all of you (from Alsius) to gift (give as a gift) three drops on your own. The one who received the drop is required to give 3 drops on his own ... It doesn't matter who's that person...

Of course... this is only if you've got a rusty drop, but in good condition, in your inventory, waiting to be traded to someone... So gift them or it to the person you think is going to need them/it ..

CHAIN OF FAVOURS:

Objective:

I think, in this way, we'll reduce the trade in our kigndom, and the general well-being we'll be more important than the individual competition:

For example:
"Kalamus is going to get my magical gloves with invo speed.
Cochinilla will receive gloves with mana ...
and the third one... don't know,... but I'll do when he's online."

I want to invite to all the people from Alsius (and clans) to spread this information, and to participate actively using this clan rank: "Regala 3 drops" (give three drops as a gift).

Thanks for your time..."

This reminds me of how it used to be, when there was almost no trade and people just gave items to anyone who had a use for the items.

I might have a few items i don't need, i've never traded anyway, if i don't need items they go to clan or the first allied player who deserves it.

Really good post and translations from our friends here. I fully support this idea
and still to this day give unwanted items to random players who i think may need them

Indeed i remember a time when Twink and I used to kill some of the champions,
(Gorlack, Ades, Asyor, Olumor) Just to get the items to give away

I still live by that rule. I also guess that's why a lot of nice items go to great players (and not so great players too, actually), but the payback from this is a bit.. well, I can't say I'm overwhelmed ;)

Also, if anyone feel they would like to give away +STR barb gear (I need that for a trade.. *sigh*) - or a fast staff with INT bonus - remember my name. I think I have some great staff and a mana bonus hat I gladly could share with my fellow Alsians!

I am always giving stuff away to player who i think may benefit from it no matter what it is. If they passed items on when they are finished and so on that would start a cycal that can benefit all of us in this game.
Clans go through you bank stuff , things that have sat there gathering dust give them out, dont hord them whats the point.
One thing that pisses me off is when someone has a drop they dont need they want gold for it.wtf is that.
Anouther thing that would be good is if higher lvl conj's whent down to noob zone and inner realm and help people lvl even for 1 hour now and again, alsius would get people into wz a lot faster.
Barbs and knights and even archers have a hard time lvling fast at lower lvl's, mage's are easy to lvl but if assisted mega fast.
Bring back the good ol days of regnum when everyone helped each other out, and are not just in it for themselfs.
