Efrendi is not, by any means, a coward. He's a very nice guy and one of most fiercest competitors out there. Of course anyone who can beat him alone will feel accomplished =p However, just about anyone would runaway if they had low health. I've seen many do it before, all three realms included-Not just Ignis.

And it seems that they only invade at night because no ones on, but I also know that that's when many of their players are online. Just like early morning, well morning here =p, is when most of Syrtis' players are online. Each realm has a different time that most of their players are online because of the stupid time zones ^^

Ignis looks up to him, and realms work better with a leader, Ive seen him turn down other pvp's and bring his monkeys to crash a some pvps between Ignis and Syrtis at samal because we were "tresspassing"...

He seems to put the realms good before simply having fun, But I cant say I wouldent like Syrtis to have someone who everyone would listen to now and again... Instead of having 3-4 people all fighting for the leader role as everyone else stands around bored.

A whole thread just to flame someone is un-needed though.

Jokes apart, I have seen a force of 10 ignis + Efrendi hold its own against hordes of syrtis at herb for a long time and at the same time 20 ignis - Efrendi lose the fort within minutes. It always pisses me when ppl sulk and say 'He leads successfully because everyone blindly follows whatever he says. I could do the same if everyone follows me'. Well they need to stop a moment to think why people dont listen to their call but only his in the first place. They get victories (and rps ofc) when they follow him... its as simple as that.

So to the trolls in realm chat who say you dont like to be ordered around and want him to say 'Please' each time, you would be helping Ignis more if you PLEASE stfu :harhar:

Knights don't count as players though. We count as a few players. Time spent trying to get that last 1 hit on a knight is like 5 minutes the rest of the army has to get ready.

But when I get hunted I can usually make it the nearest fort or really damn close.

But a big part of this is when they attack...nothing wrong with it...they just play at different times than most of alsius. When the attempt is made when alsius is awake...it doesn't work. Additionally, I'm quite sure that if Alsius (or group of them) played at extremely different times than Ignis....Alsius would take advantage of it too.

On another note....this game is not PvP, it's RvR. So....stop trying to take on entire armies by yourself.

Next time you fight them...count their conjurers....seriously guys...think. Everytime I watch those fights at night...everyone - AND I MEAN EVERYONE - goes after efrendi....knock it off...kill the conjurer and a HUGE part of your problem is over.

For me...when I'm on at that time...I go once to the fort...then leave to stop any re-inforcements at the bridge.

I do not believe that people follow him blindly for whatever reasons you might believe. Rather you think it's because he forces them, he's mean and bossy, or whatever =p I know Efrendi, well I do not know him well, but I have talked to him a couple times and he doesnt force people to follow him.

People follow him because he's a natural leader in my opinion. People just follow him because he is a good player and he's expirenced. I will proudly say that I look up to Efrendi and I would follow him anywhere in the warzone if he wanted me too =p.

No, I'm not saying everyone should bow to the "great Efrendi". I'm just saying once you got to know him, you'll see he's a very nice guy.I used to think he was a jerk too, and I'll admit it. However, after I met him he was really nice and welcoming =] So my opinion changed entirely.

I don't care if everyone hates me after this or whatever =p It's just my opinion of the situation and Efrendi ^^ Everyone's titled to their own opinions =p

The problem with Efrendi is not that he is a strong leader, it's that the other realms don't have leaders like him. In war zone, Syrtis is organized chaos at best, anarchy at worst. We could do so much better if we had a clear leader in a battle, but the high levels seem either uninterested in leading or all want to lead at the same time. Neither works. >.<

Arathael, you were either a noob or you never were there when in Horus, Ignis was being pawned left and right by the Syrtis. Let me tell you the story. It was the time when the few lvl 50s we had would sulk and go inner realm to grind alts because after hours of rushing Samal we would never get anywhere against the zerg. ( i think even now u can dig up the threads of syrtis gloating over it ) That is when Efrendi and the Ghosts came together and the realm got to the position that we are right now. Everyone started to look up to them and fought around them. Slowly but steadily we rose from the ashes to the top of Regnum, from being the underdogs.

Now that we are here..in a position of strength, we dont need them anymore. We flame them in realm chat making them to stop playing or break up. People who hit 50s just yesterday think they know everything and can invade without some senior players. Like it or not, only because of the determination and grit of some players who wanted their realm to succeed we are here. But believe me when I say, it wont take long for Ignis to go back into oblivion, it was in once, just as suddenly as we made our unexpected comeback after the invasions. Just remember we still dont have the luxury of numbers. Give ppl continuous defeats they will stop playing soon ( as it happened with the syrtis ) When that happens you will just stop playing or go to some other realm. But I cant do that 'cause 'I love my realm to bits' :)

Syrtis lost their upper hand and went into the downward spiral when Oro stopped playing and rallying them. I guess the same set of circumstances as ours made him give up on his realm.

Hmm, I am waiting to see what the end of this story is? Good or Bad for Ignis? The ending is in your hands my fellow Igneans. Support these trolls and lets go down in the history as an 'Once' strong realm OR put aside your egos and differences and Unconditionally support the war effort (whoever is leading or should i say organizing) and we can continue our good run forever ! I believe this is not a tough choice to make :)

I said 'went' downhill. But I see some good teamplay from Syrtis of late... and some bad play from Ignis. :( I sometimes think, I would like to see Ignis being underdogs again. That way we would get united once more and the newer lvl 50s will know the importance of team play. /me sighs

As for arath, he doesnt realize his words speak louder than his actions. I dont even have to reply to him but I just want the other newer players who read this to know the other side of the story too...

As for our strategy, Ignis strategy is a 'bull tactic' (warrior centric), Syrtis 'bear tactic' (archer centric). Its working fine for us. There is some real good young blood in Ignis now, I just dont want them to be mislead by trolls...

Btw, my posts were all replies to the Syrtis flames about not helping with the effort to kill the boss mobs and how no realm can kill the bossmobs alone in Horus (go read it once again). I dont even want to bring that out again.

But of course I understand your support to someone who is against your enemy realm's leader. Enemy's enemy is a friend right? And its in your interest to cause distrust and confusion in our ranks.

FWiW, veluchami, I was there at the time. And while I wasn't quite a level 50 yet (and bear in mind here that neither was Efrendi at this point), I did see what you described.
And I thought "Wow, if only people had listened to the other people who were already saying this earlier." People listened to Efrendi because, yes, he's charismatic, because after every victory he'd tell the whole realm how much he loved us. Not to mention, oh yes, because he had the most bitching war record in Ignis on Horus (and now he tops the Horus rankings outright).

But do not say the Ghosts were the first people who tried to organise the realm in that way. It just worked for them this one time. And once it's worked once, it will work again. But now trying the same tactics over and over is proving to fail. So we need to try something new. I don't care if the Ghosts come up with it, or Apocalypse, or The Dark Legion, or Zorn, or even if people outside of the Guard start listening to Hathor for a change. Hell, I don't care if Dark Barbarian suddenly has a brain storm and by an amazing random chance people follow him (hey, it's happened before). We need something else now.

So please, listen to what I'm saying instead of interpreting it as "I hate Efrendi boo hoo hoo."

Btw I dont see any evidence of this epic fail of our tactics yet. We still owned them with almost equal numbers and invaded just recently. The new balance in numbers between the realms at night time just makes it more challenging and yes its not a cakewalk anymore which is good imo.
Besides what the heck is our tactic, rather than unity? Why does fighting united bother you so much. If you have some 'new' tactic to share why not take the initiative instead of just saying 'I dont want efrendi to lead, somebody come up with a new tactic then I will fight'. Well argueing amongst ourselves is pointless anyway, as we've all seen. At any rate The Ghosts aren't organizing anything anymore, we're just playing to play. After a quick chat with Efrendi, I think I need to clarify some things:

- The reference to the rankings page was to demonstrate that Efrendi is considered by many a natural leader because of his battle prowess. It was supposed to be a supporting comment.
- The following sentence was in reference to a tendency he's had to start shouting on realm chat in all caps about his battle plan (which may or may not work at the given time), and nothing to do with any kind of bragging. Efrendi himself is very modest about his skill, and never talks about RP himself, ever.

Apologies for any offence taken.
