The game will not load for me :(

I have only recently started playing Regnum, but my computer allowed me to play for about a week then the new update came along and the server was out for a day and ever since then i havn't been able to load the game since.

I can get to the log in section when you first open Regnum online but when the game starts it will go full screen and just have the Regnum cursor will be there but instead of loading it stays black. and in the task manager it appears "not responding"

can u help me figure out why this is happening????

Problem Solved...

Do the following:
1. Open the folden where regnum is installed
2. Open the Regnum Online Folder
3. Open the Live Server Folder
4. Delete these 4 files:
A. characters (appfix package)
B. characters.idx
C. splash_gmg (png image)
D. splash_ngd.ogg
5. Restart the game

Anymore problems let me know

Option 2: Move any saved images you dont want to lose, uninstall RO, delete whatever is left, reinstall

Windows XP. I never got to experience the game once, everytime I launch it the game has the same cursor glitch/crash.

Try turning off your firewall and antivirus software....
If that does not work.... Try updating your direct 3d drivers.

hey DemonMonger the game has stuffed up for me again, it happened around a month ago and i haven't been able to get back on since :S do you know what the problem could be? i've tried deleting the same items but there is no result.. can you help me?

Sometimes the game files get corrupted....
Reinstall the game
Make a backup folder once all the updates are finished loading to save time in the future.
