Hi Guys,

I'm runing Ubuntu 8.04
and have a GeForce7600GTS in my machine.

It always ran well, but since a month i have a totally bugged map,and some textures where missing.

I always see the textures as Gray/White Striped planes or as simple white plane.

here an Example:

I hope you can help me

If so you'll be invited for a drink in the Birka Tavern :drinks:

Try deleting all *.sdb files in your Regnum folder and start the game with the "Download all resources at once" option.

Bug is now also in the character choose screen and on the loading screen.

It's your NVidia drivers.
Try upgrading to version 177 or later.

Shouldn't becaus Q4 runs quite good.
Hmm i can't upgrade because it will f**k up my system .
Compiling the nvidia kernel module with gcc4.2 and a kernel which was compiled with <gcc4.2 suckz .
Because Kernel won't accept the module and so...
I have to live with it :/

Get the installer from the nvidia site and compile it. Ignore the version difference between kernel and nvidia module compiler if the installer complains, it will work fine anyway. If you use some sort of distribution packaged nvidia module, remove it first.
