I have to say as i said in another post I have a lvl 50 Conjurer and I won't stop playing her anytime soon. I think that 20 sec for sanctuary is plenty of time to ressy someone. I do it... Yes I don't like tha mana nerfs but i have managed to figure out a system to not run out of mana. So yes i will play my conju after the update :) It's not as bad as you make it out to be.

I'll probably see first how it goes.

However, I probably won't participate in hunts or open battles that much anymore. With the change in Sanctuary, playing outside a fort is more risky now. If it turns too boring to play Conjurer, I'll start learning how to play my Warlock instead.

I probably will, but I'm unsure about Sanc.

Now that it's just one more ruined skill, and I'm only lvl 42, and cannot afford to max it, I might drop it. :/

I love playing my conju. I use almost never sanc, so I don't care about it. But I will miss spamming lvl 3/4 mind push xD

I won't stop, I always try to avoid having to use sanctuary anyway, so it won't affect me or my playing style much. It still sucks, though.

I'm currently undecided on whether or not to drop the points in Sanctuary. I could use those points elsewhere too...

I will maybe drop whole Sorcery tree and invest points somewhere else. Will see after update. Will drop Ressurect to level 3 too. Will concentrate primarily to keeping archers alive.

Keeping Sanctuary to it's old level will be too expensive - Insightfull, Arcane Devotion, Sanctuary. I can keep without it i'm sire.

One of best conjurer spells will be crap. This spell alone can turn tides on a battle, because of keeping conjurers alive while they keep other damaging classes healed and with mana. Now conjurers will die first. Bigger party will win always. Before conjurers with the help of sanctuary have the power to give chance to others to win battle against bigger but not so skilled enemy.

Sanctuary is not so life saver spell. It is more tactical spell. You have some seconds and if they are used wisely you're good. If you use it wrong you're dead anyways. I will say one more time - lower the duration but leave same cast speed - 0.5 seconds.

Yes, this is what I am afraid the most - mages will serve as carpets, waiting for res that will never come. No more "sparta res" when you went with a bunch of people in sanct to pickup dead alies - a conjurer who dares will be instantly killed before even reaching the destination, and will be bitched on that he doesn't stay in fort, whole game play will change - since experienced people will rarely dare of open battles to not loose conjurers and to not buy themselves a sure trip to altar etc. etc. :-(

I think I will at least drop sorcery tree, and most likely I will log in at conju for supermobs killing or when there will be no conju in group...

Not that I want to say that I know better than you guys, but I saw a lot of conjurers doing fine with sorcery spells, while not using sanctuary. With karma mirror, mind blank, energy barrier(I know this is mana control :p), steel skin and some self healing they can do quite well. I see conjurers like Hegrulun, Kornischm, Niola and Reuhman very often busy healing in the frontline, not using sanctuary until they really have no other choice.

I always leave Sanctuary to be last resort spell for me. Before pressing sanctuary panic spell button i try to Dispell, Heal and Regenerate Self and step back. If all this fail or see that fire is too strong i go for Sanctuary.

Sanctuary is really a panic spell for conjurer and forcing him to use it early in fight is one of tactics to kill conjurer or weaken the whole party. So i do not think this single spell is so big balance problem.

But eh if they want to do it - there have to be whole party to escort me to ressurect one. I will adapt and there have to be more marksman as jeka and lune who push enemy archers away from mages and protect us.

I do not use Steel Skin and Energy Barrier. Now whole Sorcery tree is lost for me.

Because this is what is sanctuary for - to use it when you have no other choice.

And I would bitch ALOT less (but still since I think sanct is fine as it is:devil:), if not the horrible casting time. :D

I don't use Steel Skin too, even if the description can be underestood as megapowerful spell, it is really crapy in my opinion.

IMHO, Sanctuary is just a way to cover a big design flaw and it shouldn't exist at all. Steel skin is more in the line of any other mmorpg, while Sanctuary just hides the problem: conjurers are absolutely defenseless while performing support tasks, which is unacceptable and has been overlooked by more than four years. The entire skill tree is an idea-to-be, never completed.

I've been playing since the time we didn't have sanctuary, and I've never really depended on it, not even for asym. warfare (not so common if you stick with your clan). The conjurer is really flexible, and if backed up correctly it can change the outcome of the battle.

With the new sanctuary I believe I lower resurrect to lvl 3, sanctuary to lvl 1, get karma mirror and mind blank to the highest level I can.

Surely I will still play my conj.

I never had sanctuary higher than lvl3, I prefer steel skin and mind blank plus barrier any time. Whether I will put the sanct points now into karma mirror I have to see. Sanct was and still is a must in dangerous res scenarios but i always hated to be completly unbuffed after sanct especially with the insightful bug that was around. It seems to be fixed though with the 1.06 hotfix but i never really went back using it cos i switched to rely on steel skin instead.
