[Horus] Syrtis/Ignis - Thanks! (A Happy Thread)

There's so many horrible posts on the forums blaming one realm or another for this or that. I think what this community needs is some positive feedback so, I would like to thank Ignis and Syrtis for the extremely enjoyable 3 hour war we had earlier today (well yesterday for some of us).

It had a mix of everything, fort wars, open field wars and even a 20 minute PB war! (And a few mini-PB-wars) What made it even more fun is that both sides were, more or less, evenly matched so it wasn't your typical zerg and capture war. I have to say those are the first three hours I've spent in RO in the last few months that I can't say I wasted my time with.

So thanks again for the enjoyment, and here's to many more in the future :drinks:! <=== Apple juice for those of us that don't drink.

P.S. - Where were you Alsius? You didn't camp PB, you didn't take Alga, you didn't take Meni. You're allowed to play with us too you know!

Some Alsius were around to kill heavily wounded characters at rest or to camp CS.
Special mention to Poe, who heroically killed me after i escaped Beijing's uzi with less than 50 HP.
We have seen Falco and Aylin too, and some other Alsius, but they had rather short life with all those furious Ignis and Syrtis around ;)

We used to have these battles everyday on RA, pre-1.0. :(Well, today at Herb was awesome! ^^
It all started with me, Lubaya, Norseman, abmab, Nygggelll and Raticulin camping Syrtis merca since they refused to do a shit.
We engaged a nice fight and we kept moving towards Herb all the time since greens kept feeding us with more and more players.
We ended up near the rocks on the field outside Herb facing towards the save and fougth a very nice battle, I think it was us 6 vs 10, Raticulin did a fantastic job.
In the end we couldn't keep up with all greens so we died.

We decided to try once more since it was so fun, and brought some more players from Valhalla.
Now Ignis captured Herb and things started to get interesting...

We rushed into the red/green army and killed loads of greens, and to our surprise the reds didn't attack us so we kept on fighting a big horde of greens for some time.
We were close to dying all the time but still managed to keep ourselves alive somehow, and managed to get to pp to regroup with those that died and a few more.

Now we set sail for Herb together with this part, I would say we were about 10 in total.
We fought for about 15-20 minutes on the flanks of Herb field along with the reds, against a big green army.
It was really fun :)

PS: Sorry to hijack the thread, but happiness is happiness, right? :D
PS2: It seems as if Horus is starting to shape up...

I really think we need more threads like this in the forums, those talking about the fun battles instead of the more and more common flamewars. We're all here to have fun, not take things so seriously, aren't we?

I was fortunate enough to enjoy at least a small part of the Horus battles last night and had a great time. If this is what the Horus night crew has to look forward to from here on in, count me in on the fun.

I suppose 3 or 4 good hours out of 2 months is better than 0 hours out of 2 months, we still need to even out the numbers during the each realm's off hours though.

We did have some good pp2-trelle fights with alsius on Sunday night Monday morning, then again on Tues too. I really enjoyed them, evenly matched... :hat: to some dude called Reepz who just continually kamikaze'd at us :biggrin:

So, last night was another great night of warring. Aggers (Yay Alsius!), Meni, Herb, Samal, Shaana and around PB. I'm liking the trend that the Night Crew is experiencing. Let's try to keep it going guys! Thanks all for making it so much fun (although you kept me up well past my bedtime cause I just couldn't leave when I was having such an awesome time). :clapping5365:
