I have freinds in Syrtis and INQ ive known for over 2 years now, although most are on Holiday right now which may explain the bordom, A lot of great people in INQ have left over that time to other games/realms though Dave, Oble, Ravi, Refe, Lunar, Adel, etc... And havent seen Kim in ages, said he'd be back in a few days then never showed up :/

The whole realm as well as the clan is in real need of some non idiot freindly new players.

Taking a few days out for a Holiday soon, then maybe a few days after that just for a rest from Ro, I think Ill have made up my mind by then, at least for the near future.

Im not happy with my barb in its current state, Ive got my Marks thus far but am losing interest, my Knight is a joke to level, and stuck on Ra for now, my Conju just isnt my style anymore, and im not happy being first target on it when my allys have no real way to defend me as NGD wants, I sometimes play a freinds Hunter but hunting is only fun for an hour or so untill it becomes a boring game of run away from the zerg/own the half dead guy.

Going on Holiday Friday Morn,

And I did re-level another char of another class of another race of another gender on another server, + several others, was fun for a while but its starting to drag again now.

And since I know the kind of names thrown around for most people who move realms and the kind of reception you get in wz, oh look theres soandso, bagsies killing him {+fight between 10 people on who can kill him first} makes me a little less tempted to move anywere.

If I were earning my own living then I would save for a new Pc and maybe be temped by Aion or GW2 as it is im 16 and living as a little drain on my parents resources and since my Dad lost his job a few months ago and is unlikely to find another at his age, 61, my mates dont belive me on that, say he looks like he's in his late 40's Hope I inherited those genes ;)

But anyway point is Im not going to ask them to fork out a monthly bill for some game, and after the rvr in Regnum I doubt ill be satisfied with anything without the sort of warzone/capture/open rvr/pvp that this game has, which limits the options somewhat.

The nature of Regnum is cyclical. There are very few constants. In 2 years we have seen thousands of people come and go. People and clans rise to prominence then stall and decline and finally disappear. A month or two ago the INQ had a 2 year birthday. That was an amazing event. It is real unusual for a clan to last that long. Snore, people will grouse about some clans being around longer...bell curve people on the bell curve. I expect the actual average lifespan of any clan at under 6 months, and average stay for any single player at under 3 months.

We could both name great friends who we have not seen in months. I have a few I have not seen for more than a year. But in an on-line game, I think perhaps any on-line game, that is the way it goes.

I think the answer is to play until it is no longer fun. And when it is no longer fun, do something else. Maybe have an exciting real life, that works for some people, I hear.

As for leaving, I want to love this game, but its getting harder with people leaving, nerfs every month, and nothing I consider new, exciting, or even slightly entertaining being added to the game, Im holding on for NG3D 2.0 wether ill still be playing then or will come back to check it out I dont know. But right now the development trend seems to be:

nerf xp, nerf players, buff mobs, crap hat event, nerf this, nerf class defining skills, crap hat event, nerf something else, add some mobs boss mobs, nerf something else, another crap hat event, etc...

I remembered today that with the +50% bonus + the invasion bonus grinidng is almost as fast as it was pre mob xp nerf. Which is a pretty sad realisation.

We have all "moved" to another realm at somepoint, a spent a week or so In alsius not all that long ago, Imo its best not to say "I am moving" before you try it, just say your making a char in another realm, play both accounts for a while, if you find yourself having fun more on one and less on the other, play the fun one more often, and if you have fun on one but none on the other, then its time to move. If you find you have fun on neither, then its time to find another game.
