First of all hi I'm new here. A friend of mine told me about this game and since I have some spare time I though why not try it?

Anyway I downloaded and tried the installer 64-bit and 32-bit for linux. Atm I'm running on ubuntu 9.04 64bit. However I can't get them to run. I double click but nothing happens. Is there some specific command to make the installer work?

My pc specifications:
MSI K9AG motherboard
AMD Athlon 6000+
Nvidia 9600GT - factory superclocked
2gb ram -800mhz

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance

Just make the installer executable, this will be probably enough too install it (but maybe u have to install certain 64bit libraries first). If u dont get any sound, u'll have to install openal.

For the file on desktop, commandwise I'm writing:

chmod +x RegnumOnlineInstall_64
then
/home/owner/Desktop/RegnumOnlineInstall_64

edit: still nothing working xD

There's also the option of the deb package created by onemyndseye...

I got this error message when I tried that:

The following packages have unmet dependencies.
regnum-online: Depends: ia32-libs (>= 1.19) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

EDIT:
I typed again these commands afterwords and something is going on:
chmod +x RegnumOnlineInstall_64
then
/home/owner/Desktop/RegnumOnlineInstall_64

EDIT2: Installation worked perfectly, but I have no sound ingame :D

Regnum Online uses OpenAL for sound. If your distro do not have it installed you better put it. Install libopenal and all be fine

Which openal do i have to install? Because there were two and I did both but nothing worked :D

EDIT: Rebooting after the package installing did the trick

Thanks for the help everybody
