It actually goes past the shock value when you understand how we as citizens are indoctrinated, generally from those we think are an authority.

Often as an American we tend to believe in the idea that everyone is created equal and has the same chance as anyone, regardless of sex or race, to the American dream.

So when you see those images of protest it shows the opposite of what we are told as citizens.

In that sense our authority is no different then Lenin or Stalin, both who used Marxist communism to make people side with their ideology - such as killing the bourgeois (lenin) and then eventually the proletariat (stalin), all in the name of creating change.

Also another image of change is the church, so the pope too gets thrown in.

How it relates to Obama is where you see the African-American children doing a march, chant in the classroom.

The teacher that inspired those children to engage in that type of activity was seen as indoctrinating them into an a false ideology. It was actually funny how much of a stir it made during Obama's campaign for presidency.

When I see those images I always connect them to these lines:

And of you look closely at the images of the terrorist you will have seen an image of the Virgina Tech shooting, which suggests as well that glorification of violence isn't strictly tied to the practitioners of religion...


The truth is that all these images point to the false consciousness paradox (the whole idea of 1984) that we live in that is brought out, very well in my opinion, from this video and song.

And the false consciousness paradox is what we have been indoctrinated to believe that everything we were taught is real and good...

That you should trust your authority figures because they always will hold your interests above their own; that science can solve every problem that man faces even though the industrialization of the products of science create pollution; that capitalism is the best economic system ever made even though its an inherent system of inequity (not to mention its need for war) ; and that there is a God, a God that needs your submission, just like those in authority, or he will punish you.

Yet the only people in that whole video who were real and stood up to expose the lies that citizens are handed were killed...

Those people of course were MLK and JFK (proving that Stalin and Lenin tactics, respectively, exist within America)...

May they both rest in peace...

Oh and did you notice where you see large crowds screaming, the scene out of 1984 and the protests images?

Don't generally like getting into 2nd year Sociology projects, but I did what was asked.

I Watched the video with no sound, as this would have (by design) just distracted me from the story in the images. Music videos are a perfect cover for dual messages as they generally have a hypnotic effect on sections of the brain, due to the beat of the music....add repetative lyrics and you get a nice little link to the subconcious for a visual message.

Just your standard Republican advertising that having a black man running america will be the same as a comunist state (the Health bill has been descibed as such - Althou imo its about time america got some social responsibility), causing the white to become a poor underclass to a new black ruling elite.

Some of the people i admit i did not recognise, not being an American myself, but most of the repeated themes were easy to follow. - ( this is an open for me being a product to some degree of sumin or other.....well yep i am, as we all are - it's what make society cohesive, and is just a nessesary extention of the family group...)
