[RA Event] My 3 year anniversary

Introduction

As some of you might know I'll celebrate my third year of Regnum in early January.
I don't know how much longer I'll keep playing Regnum, since my interest is fading day by day and because of that I'd like to have atleast one last event together with the awesome community on RA. After having put some thought into the rules of the event, based on my own (p)references and feedback from the community arranged Horus event held some time ago I came up with the following concept:

The goal

The goal of the event is for each realm to hold Aggersborg for as many minutes as possible within 1 hour.

There will be software monitoring the warstatus and generating statistics during the event which will be accessible on the web for anyone to follow.
Each minute will add 1-4 points to the total score of the realm currently holding the fort (see below for more details), and the realm which ends up with the highest score will win the event.

The score received will be relative to the level of the fort.
A level 1 fort will give your realm 4 points/minute, while a level 4 fort will only give your realm 1 point/minute.

Motivations


Q: Why Alsius and why Aggersborg?
A: Alsius is currently the realm with XP bonus on RA, and because of that I find it most fair to put the battle at one of their forts since that will give them an advantage. I choose Aggersborg since it's the central Alsius fort and both Syrtis and Ignis can reach it easily.
Q: Why 1 fort and not 3 like in the Horus event?
A: Because I don't want any idle time or any realm left out of the battle.
This should be a big, fast paced, epic battle where everyone should be able to enjoy themselves and I find it hard to achieve with a 3 forts system.

Introducción

Como algunos de ustedes sé que voy a celebrar mi tercer año de Regnum principios de enero.
No sé cuánto tiempo más voy a seguir jugando Regnum, ya que mi interés está desapareciendo día a día y por eso me gustaría tener atleast uno último evento junto con la comunidad impresionante acerca de la AR. Después de poner algún pensamiento en las normas del caso, basado en mi propia (p) referencias y comentarios de la comunidad dispuestos Horus evento celebrado hace algún tiempo se me ocurrió el siguiente concepto:

El objetivo

El objetivo del evento es para cada reino tendrá Aggersborg tantos minutos como sea posible dentro de 1 hora.

Habrá software de monitoreo de la warstatus y las estadísticas de generación durante el evento, que será accesible en la web para que cualquiera pueda seguir.
Cada minuto se agrega 1-4 puntos a la puntuación total del terreno que ocupa actualmente la fuerte (ver más abajo para más detalles), y el reino, que termina con la puntuación más alta ganará el evento.

La puntuación será recibido en relación con el nivel de la fortaleza.
Un nivel 1 Fort le dará a su reino de 4 puntos por minuto, mientras que un nivel 4 fuerte sólo le dará a su reino de 1 punto por minuto.

Motivaciones

* Q: ¿Por qué Alsius Aggersborg y por qué?
R: Alsius se encuentra actualmente el campo con bono XP en la AR, y por eso me parece más justo para poner la batalla en uno de sus fuertes ya que les dará una ventaja. Puedo elegir Aggersborg ya que es el fuerte Alsius central y los dos Ignis Syrtis y puede llegar fácilmente.
* Q: ¿Por qué 1 Fort y no 3 como en el caso de Horus?
R: Porque no quiero que ningún tiempo de inactividad o de cualquier ámbito de la izquierda fuera de la batalla.
Esto debería ser un grande, de ritmo rápido, épica batalla en la que todos deben poder disfrutar de ellos y me resulta difícil de lograr con un sistema de 3 fuertes.

Thanks to everyone for comming.
Realm balance was a big issue, and we (Alsius) tried cycling between attacking Herbred/Samal to give both Ignis and Syrtis a fair chance of attacking Aggers.

Still, in the end, Alsius got the most points.
That, however, does not mean we did the best job.

Syrtis and Ignis were fantastic - really - I am amazed by your gameplay, and I hope you also enjoyed it even though you were outnumbered.

It was just amazing.

I haven't seen so man friends online together in a very long time, not only in Ignis but also in Alsius (Kathris from Valhalla for example :D )

I enjoyed the fights a lot even though there was a huuuge lag. And I killed Znurre once :metal:

I think, with a that big army everyone felt confident that we would have no problems capturing the fort, hence we just zerged - and died.

I thought about that too, it appeared to me that you play better when you're fewer, probably due to what you've just posted.

After all, if you cast areas with deal 5k damage altogether, every enemy dies whether they're 60 people or just 20. Of course, there's more conjus and everything but still, with a good area chain (and those are quite easy to do at the puerta) you can kill so much.

Oh, I missed this.. spent my time skiing in Norway instead. Damn it's cold there right now: -18 degrees Celsius and winds of 21 m/s the first day, then the wind stopped and the temperature dropped to -27.

I hope you kept beating the warmth out of the elves too!
