running on linux but in window?

Is there any chance I can play under linux but with in window, not fullscreen?

Just untick the "fullscreen" option in the launcher.

i did this, and it still opens to fullscreen. I managd to get it once, but the picture was still fullsize, and my head was cut off by the top of window, and i couldnt scroll through my char choices either, because window wasnt big enough.

you must set the window size (resolution) to something that is small enough to fit on your screen.

edit game.cfg and change the following lines:
vg_screen_height = 740
vg_screen_width = 1273


those are the values I use to give me a fullscreen window on a 1280x800 desktop

yeah, i had to go 900x600 or so on my 1028x768 desktop.

I used to have the same problem with fullscreen too. Even when unchecked, it still opened to fullscreen. I had to change a setting in compiz, but i forget what it was now.

Try to push "alt+enter" at the beginning (or in the middle) of the game. This should put Regnum in a window.

Yes.. if you set a odd res in game.cfg alt+enter is no longer a option lol - it can produce some pretty odd results.
