Can't move/GUI doesn't work

Linux Mint 8 Helena (new install)
Phenom II Quad Core 3.0 cpu
4G DDR3
ATI onboard Radeon 3300

I downloaded the 32bit bin and installed it. That went fine. I loaded up the game, it connected to the server, updated, etc.

But I can't move. And the keyboard commands are all messed up. The Esc key doesn't bring up the options menu, the W key takes a snapsnot of my character, and the other keys are all over the place, function-wise.

Any takers?

if u use gnome, you probably have two keymap layouts in the keyboard preferences. Delete the one you dont need. Then it should work.

other keyboard layout was Irish. :lol:
