So i've downloaded the game, played it a little, and so far i like it BUT, its very laggy! I have the graphics as low as possible, i have a good internet connection, and my computer is only a year old! Why is it that i can play other games with much better graphics without one bit of lag, but this game lags A TON?

Hi MrUnknown77,
You should try the new experimental client (http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum/showthread.php?t=51566[/url) and see if that helps.
Regards.

Yes. The experimental client installs to a separate folder.

Also what kind of internet do you have? Lan, wireless, optical wire? If you have wireless one it may be a bit of unstable. Also on what server do you play. If you play on ra mostly on peak hours there is a ton of lag.

Use alt+i or alt+p to see if you have network or fps problem.
You can have a new computer with a very bad graphic card, how old it is don't say a lot.

Quite often store brought PCs, even the higher-end-but-not-classed-as-'gaming'-ones will have a good cpu/ram/etc but still a poor graphics card, however depending on how strong your CPU is you should be able to play relitively well just on the CPU and Intergrated card.

It seems to be a FPS problem, how can i fix this? You will probably need to upgrade parts of your computer configuration.
Do you mind posting your current computer specifications in this thread so we could give you some advice?
CPU (Processor), RAM (Memory) and GPU (Graphics Card), for example.

It seems that your CPU wouldn't be that good (1.6GHz single core), 512MB RAM and a GeForce 6000 series GPU (or atleast a similar configuration).
A few tips to improve performance:
Try to shut down any applications not needed while playing (perhaps even antivirus software if you dare).
If you use Windows Vista, make sure you play in Fullscreen or disable the Aero desktop compositing.
Make sure you're having the latest drivers installed for your graphic card.
Check that you are playing Regnum in "Safe mode", if not, please enable it.
Good luck.
