Yeah exactly, if you go a bit more into it you find more like Regnum = Realm, Alsius = frosty or something. I bet there's more :)

i'm italian (fyi :D latins was the language of ancient romans)
your word realm have root on "regnum" ,
ignis is fire in latin,
left is levo in latin,
right is retto in latin,
syrtis is sexual twisted treehugger in latin,

Also, Ignis was the realm of the Igneos (later they were defeated, the elves were exiled, dark elves, you know).
Well, "Ignis" is a bit "Igneous", don'tcha think? Volcanic zone, and the rest is a very hot dessert.
Does Syrtis really mean that?!
