Well I decided I will no longer play Regnum.
Maybe I will log in sometimes to chat with people, give items from bank to the clan members.

This has gone too far, current poor game economy makes monsters out of decent people (maybe because it is true you can get really good items just by smashing bossess or by getting a lot of xim).

People reaction when I got in posession of 2 Evendim drops made me think.

At least Syrtis does nothing else than speaking about when the boss will respawn, and how we will kill it, it is like some gold fever effect.

My close friend was so obsessed with Vesper's items that he has gone insane and it ended the IRL friendship that lasted for years, my other friend got seriously ill because of this game.

There is nothing positive in here, people are greedy, flamming each other, flamming NGD, NGD is not listening to their arguments, whathever.

There are more important things than items in MMORPGs.

I don't quite know what the case was with those drops you speak of, but I'm sure you know that good items do not make a good player in RO. No amount of cast speed or hit chance points can make up for good play and a well-timed spell. I personally have never bothered with bosses. The only drop I have from a boss (and probably ever will have) are Vesper's gloves. They were given to me by a clan member. The thing that's bothering me here is that you got all your items fair and square. You paid gold / magnanite for some of them, you traded items for others... Not that you needed them. :) You were an excellent player. You will be missed, Platyna.

Hello, I agree in many respects, but I think each person chooses the way they live and interpret their world. Well theres stil some good people that give their items away for free, I give mine away for free but alot of people seem to want mag in return 0_o (snidey xD)

I dont realy care for items, if something my level stumbles along I migh buy it or sometimes I get awsome drops, had like 5 awsome drops I could use from lvl 40 to 42. N the rest totii gave me for free.

But other people do go crazy finding +7 const and cs gems. Aparently there hard to get n cost ALOT of mags. And I think this is mainly on horus but I wouldnt kno as I dont understand what those spanish people be spamming.

No one plays my char, at least I did not give my password to anyone, and it is rather hard to guess password, so he must have seen someone else (if a name is not listed in my sig then it is not my char).

I would imagine that its to let the people they don't see in game very often know where they're going and why they won't be around for a whlie. I don't see the problem to be honest. Or do you have a problem with Platyna?

FYI - it has nothing to do with attention seeking either: Platyna mentioned in-game the other night that she was leaving for a while due to her studies. There weren't many people online, so I guess she felt it necessary to post it here too.

I would also add that the last time she took a break WITHOUT telling everyone, there were loads of posts criticising her for "leaving the game and stealing items" that she'd acquired perfectly legitimately from boss drops and trading, etc. It seems that whatever she does, someone wants to have a go.

As someone who doesn't play very often anymore, I know a lot of people who just "disappeared" from the game that I'd be interested to know where they went and the forum is one of the best places to do that, so I say post away! :clapclap:
