Users who want a better Regnum

In another forum thread Kailer posted "I find Dky interested in what he does and also admire his patience. He's polite and the users that want a better Regnum for everyone seem to like him as well."

It has nothing to do with not liking DkySven.

I would think that everyone would like to have better regnum, or am I wrong? The reason we are having these debates is because we all want to see a better more enjoyable regnum. We should be able to openly discuss the things that most affect this community without being stifled every time we start a thread.

As i have posted there is an alarming amount of closed threads. I for one would like a better RO. Just because i have an issue with something doesnt mean that i dont want regnum to succeed.

if that was the case i dont think any of us who are making these posts would even bother with it. Let alone contribute to this game in anyway.

NGD is working for making the game better, so I guess it pisses them off that everybody is complaining.

I know they have short time, but they can at least do a post were they would write weekly what they are doing... or maybe they should still work full time...

Has anyone complained about the job that is being done? It seems that ppl either post without understanding what is being said, or you just jump to irrational conclusions based on the fact that ppl are discussing a certain topic.
If the problem that ppl have is that there is open discussion then you should move to a country where there is nothing but censorship. where i live and what i believe is based on the idea that i can whatever i want as long as its not infringing on other right to speak freely.

Why argue that much about an obvious issue. The forum is a tool for us to gather information. Repeating the things we already know (and posting them stating that we don't know what we do or don't want anything solved) just makes that tool useless.

I ask you all to read between the lines. Closed posts are the ones we don't need in the forum or the ones that clearly have another intention when created (piss off another user, etc).

Read more carefully, please. And if you think that some thread was closed unfairly or whatever other thing about moderation, PLEASE send an email to community@ngdstudios.com.ar. Posting that things here is just troll food.

boards; this is the Inn. Here is where we expect to be able to talk our junk,
bitch to each other, tell our stories, and have civil discussions on a variety of
subjects without fear of being shut down because of personal dissent with
the point of view. If someone crosses the line then yes shut it down.
I dont always agree with what I read here but I dont complain to have them
locked out.

I also get your point too. If you look at the topics posted in The Inn, you may see a lot of different stuff and as long as it's nothing illegal or insulting, there's no problem at all. In fact, we love it when we find users that have common interests and can gather here to discuss them.

The problem comes when, for instance, someone wants to piss off another user by posting a "similar version" of another thread. You may know what i'm talking about.

So, yes, there might be closed threads to avoid something like that to happen, and others that shouldn't have been closed. For the last, there's an email to address this issue: community@ngdstudios.com.ar.

We certainly don't do everything right, but we really ask you to follow our indications to communicate your problems. Posting things that the rules don't allow will not make the problems get solved faster. They will create new problems. If you sent a mail and we didn't reply is because we couldn't and we (NGD) are the only ones that can solve certain problems for now.

Given this, I encourage all of you to send your problems to community@ngdstudios.com.ar (please, make sure they're real problems first :) ).

In that mail we reply about moderation, personal problems with another user (not abuse, there's a mail for that, this should be some kind of "mediator request"), website fansite list add requests, or other general community stuff.

It always helps that you be brief. Time is what we really don't have.

Mental note: I should make a guide about this sometime.

To sum up what I said: if someone wants a better Regnum for everyone, doesn't want to get into meaningless fights, redundant complaints, forum multiaccounting, harassing other users or troll contests. If so, we will ban, but not because we are some kind of freaking forum nazis. It's just that we don't have time to deal with it. Everyone that has stayed with this game through all of its struggles wants a better regnum.

I still feel that allowing users that know how to program a chance to partner with you to solve issues is a good idea.

People only repeat the issues that they feel are problems because they are waiting to hear a valid answer from Niclam and all of NGD.

2000 years is a long time to wait for a messiah don't you think?
At least send us a word via one of your prophets to comfort us in our time of need ;)

NGD's Poll response: We see you chose skill balance.... Every friday we will have a mock battle with users from every class to compare and judge balance. We will listen to your issues and see if we can find a solution that already exists in game. If no solution exists skills will be modified.


NGD's Poll response: Second on the users choice list is the issue of phantom swings. We know this issue happened when we increased movement speed for all players. Thus we may put movement speed back to where it was before the problem occured and over time raise movement speed to judge how this problem occurs and how better we can manage it.

Sorry Kailer, but you expressed your support for Dky on this forum a few times by now. You closed many threads, IMHO, unfairly before. AFAIK this is YOU who answer e-mails sent to this adress.
