Agreed, the main reason I started playing regnum was the support for a linux client, even if not officially supported!

Seriously, there is no restriction whatsoever on the forums any user may post, they just have to use the corresponding language, that's about it.

Damn, who gives a shit if this is a spanish section or not. Everyone is typing in English, so I do not see the big deal. This bickering is one of the reason I am getting sick of Syrtis. Its all about the Fcking clan wars and RP's now.

I play it because it's free and you can be part and change how the game is gonna be when it's done. I mean can you say that about games as WoW, i don't think so.

I play regnum because all Knight Online became corrupted by too many cheaters and I got tired of banning them. Also because the same company became too greedy and lost care for the people who helped make the game.
Im just waiting for this server to support more than 500.... then I'm bringing my entire empire over...:horsey:

This is the first MMORPG game I have gotten into. It is very fun and addicting :theking:

I found the game because of the linux client. I used to play FPS (first person shooters) all the time, but now this is the only game I play :razz:

i'm like a beta tester, dip my fingers(and mouse)into anything.
and also angelwinged devil and most of our clan had moved from one game to RO, so i joined them, and haven't regretted it(yet:p ).

I came to be apart of beta testing , I was suprised how much I like this game , the gamers are for the most part really nice . not so in many games . as greed has gotten to them. great game keep it up

Linux Client. it was either this or Planeshift and Planeshift is nothing on Regnum. even if Regnum went pay to play, id gladly pay for this game just because of the linux client.

i use linux (ubuntu), and i found the game listed on the linux game tomb and it reminded me alot of asherons call when i saw it. i played it and was hooked (got to lvl 10 on first day). the only thing i miss is dungeons, but i think i'll live:D

The same. First i was looking for game with native Linux client, then i tried and Regnum was the best of them. There should be account opened for special volunteer donations for Surak to develop Linux client. :p

Same for me. I came from Planeshit, the most bug-ridden game imaginable, with clueless devs, led by a self-absorbed disorganized "leader" and pre-adolescent power-tripping GMs. This is no joke... it took them THREE YEARS to get from version 0.3 to 0.4. LOL!

Not many other MMORPG games have clients natively for Linux. Several Windows games do, however, work nicely in wine, though I much prefer to support a company that makes a native Linux client. I have bought something like $120 ximerin because I wish to support NGD, though I stopped buying ximerin when the game became imbalanced and bugs stopped getting fixed. If they ever get around to fixing things, I might start passing money their way again.

I discovered Regnum by accident...
After reading a little I was like, "meh...why the hell not..."

That was a few months ago.
Now I just play since I get bored easily, although I might just move on if this game starts going downhill...

My loyalties lie with whatever game that can entertain me for the longest, and so far, Regnum has done a decent job, despite the competition it is starting to get from another free game who's name won't be mentioned here...

The main reason to why I started was that there's a linux client. But also it has been fun to see how the game have developed over time (I remember when all quests were in spanish, full of [err_in_dialogue] and stuff, and anyone could kill impossible mobs :P).

I got bored of all the grinding, my char got deleted (beta-stages?) and then also the lack of english speaking people. So I didn't play for a long time. Then I started again, got to Warzone and damn, I was caught, PvP and RvR is awesome those days!

Two twin brothers introduced me to the game. They left both at lvl6 one warrior one archer:D And I was lonely but in short time somebody gave me a chat. Something like were are you? And lets meet near Ulren Asir and he invited me to GoP. Lol poor gop. 2 months I spammed them with my noob questions but I learned the game and now I am happy when I can help newbies.

My ex installed this game one year ago on this computer and I registered an account, too. I created a barbarian who never saw the warzone because the beta was over before.
When I started with the Conjurer I started to like this game and found the German Guardians Clan. In the autumn I had some rl trouble and got to know great people in this game... so I have to say, again again again, that the community keeps me in this game.

Ah well and I like the war with good groups, talking in mumble and having fun. I enjoy playing the Warlock and Hunter pretty much. The Warlock fits me, its good to play one.
