When I was in year 8, my English class had a project on our Heroes, Idols, and Role Models.

You wouldn't believe the amount of trouble I had explaining that I couldn't do the project because I didn't have any of them.

This is Alan Brooke, Chief of the Imperial General Staff of the UK during world war two. Although he was very modest and didn't seek the publicity actively, he was a strategic genius and is one of the people who had the biggest part in winning the war.
